XOOPS Version: 2.2.1
Module Name/Version: no module
PHP Version: 4.4.0-pl1-gentoo
MySQL Version: 4.1.19-log
Web Server Software (Apache/IIS/Other):
Operating System: Apache/1.3.33 (Unix) (Gentoo/Linux) mod_scgi/1.2a2 PHP/4.4.0-pl1-gentoo mod_ssl/2.8.24 OpenSSL/0.9.7e DAV/1.0.3
Theme you are using: tweaked version of WF_solaris
Custom template: (Yes/No) no
PHP Debug Messages: none, just "notices," there are a long stream of these which I can post if needed
MySQL Debug Messages: none
Smarty Debug Messages: none
A full description of the issue:
My host recently did a MySQL upgrade, and while most everything else works, suddenly there are no blocks anywhere on either of my web sites using xoops. I'm pretty sure it's their fault, but does anyone know what table has been wiped to cause this? That might help me get it fixed faster.
I'm also confused as to why most of the tables are intact (the modules all work fine, I just can't see any of the blocks), and my other four sites using php/mysql weren't affected at all.

try updating each module.. system module etc. via the modules admin panel. that should regenerate the templates. also just to be safe, check that templates_c is writable.

There are no MySQL error messages or notices.

templates_c is writable

updating the modules hasn't done anything.

I'm thinking a table got wiped somehow. There are no blocks listed in the blocks listing in the admin section

We found the problem.
The table syntax used in xoops_block_instance is incompatible with the new version. It doesn't like "KEY join"

Removing the word "join" made everything all better.

Just an FYI for anyone who has this problem in the future.
