Hello,

The last year I tried xoops, and had to quit it because the way it handle images on posts... you have to upload it first and then search it on the gallery (or something like that, I do not remember well)

It is working in the same way?

Or you can upload image files while you are writing your posts?

For example, in joomla/mambo you can add wysiwyg editors like JCE, that offer these options... but I need something like a blog, like xoops...

TIA, and sorry for the bad english :)

I Guess so - the standard in the XOOPS core is Image manager - there is an FAQ about how to use it. The core module of 'news' lets you use images that have been uploaded to the image manager. Priveleges and limtis are set by you in your site admin.

Having said that - there are other 'content' modules that may handle images more to your liking so take a look through those or search for content modules and do a bit of research. If you were to ask about specific modules we could be more helpful.

p.s that is in XOOPS 2.0.13.2, which hasn't got all the functions the new versions will,
Yet if you look at xoopsforge and the CBB site, it has FCK,koivi and there are loads more editors to choose from for xoops.

It has the function in CBB to show the images in posts also.

Have fun!!
