I am using the reviews Module and a normal user logged in is able to edit and modify reviews. How can I remove this priviledge?

I have looked through any groups for checks, I have looked through the Reviews Settings and I have even tried to comment out certain parts of the source files where Admin was associated but that obviously affects the real admins. The user logged in has an Admin link in the user menu, but with limited access. I want this removed as well.

Thanks.

I am not familiar with the module but go though your block admin page carefully to remove the privelege the registered user appears to have.

If that doesn't help come back with more info - especially your versions.

Cheers

I have the latest XOOPS version and the module was from this site's module repository.

The blocks and the groups are correct. No one other than the Admin or Staff should have access.

But like I said there is limited Admin access mainly for the Reviews, so I am looking through the admin of the reviews and the header.

For a better idea of what I am talking about, register and follow a review and check your User Menu. Admin will be on the bottom (like it should if you have admin access). Forgive me with the incomplete site, one step at a time.

Hi,

If you are using XOOPS 2.0

You must have the "Module Admin rights" checked for the "Reviews Module" inside of the "Registered Users" group.

System Admin >>> Groups >>> Modify Registerd Users Group

Ok, I have been through the Groups and Blocks; and Registered Users do not have any Admin rights... under registered users for only Module Access rights & Block Access Rights have check marks, System Admin rights & Module Admin rights do NOT have checks. That should be the correct way to remove any Admin for that group correct?

Is it possible to have it hard coded within the module? I believe that this is the case. But that would still have to have some sort of permission within the admin.php file...

This is killing me. :)

Thanks again.
