Hi All,

Pardon the newbie question - I did search but I guess I'm not using the correct keywords. If I am transferring an exsiting site over ot XOOPS, how can I keep the existing page names for the main pages? Is it not possible and I should expect to use mod_rewrite to redirect old page to new XOOPS page name which include the /modules/wfchannels/ directories, or is there another way? It wouldn't matter so much but some of them rank nicely in Google's index.

Thanks,

Cuidiu

You lose the names unless the pages in question are standalone non-xoops html or php. When you XOOPS pages to replace yours... unless you rewrite XOOPS to your standards, you get XOOPS page names.
