too bad the themes and modules here dont have any preview links or screenshots.

I think you sould keep in mind if the module is still active in development.

I don't know wich one is closest, but there is newer version for myAlbum-P on autors site:
http://www.peak.ne.jp/xoops/

The best way is to play with all of them on a test server and find one you like.

You can try following this faq to help choose a moudule - might save a bit of time be eventually you do need to play.

Closest to photopost? I would have to say the Gallery2 module found here.
The current version is using Gallery 2.1 rc2a. The developer is having computer problems, so has not been able to make any updates.
