Hello,
I'm newbye and very amazing about this CMS.
I'm a java developer and I know PHP, too.
Now I need to develope a site about a Atletic Groups that they need: forum, news, chat, image gallery, user administration, chat andother things. I start to try to implement the site wit h XOOPS but after some tries I have a question.
The site is divide in 7 differents sports and I wat to manage this section in different way with different modules unable.
I created 7 differents modules empty and I use this module to define the abilitations about the blocks.
It's a good way?
There's a different way, better?

thanks

Re: Site with multiple sections

Take a look also at the module 'smartsection' at Smartfactory It might help with what you want. Being a newbie it could also be useful to bookmark the docs thread below.

Cheers
