I've installed this several times before on my server. with the recommended version 2.0.13.2 I can't get past the step that writes to the mainfile.php

mainfile.php has permissions.

File ../mainfile.php overwritten by ../mainfile.dist.php.
Failed writing constant /home/.genny/pvtpyro/privatepyro.com.
Failed writing constant http://www.privatepyro.com.
Failed writing constant mysql.
Failed writing constant xoops.
Failed writing constant portal.privatepyro.com.
Failed writing constant (my login)
Failed writing constant (my password)
Failed writing constant (my database name)
Failed writing constant 0.
Failed writing constant 1.
Failed writing constant 2.
Failed writing constant 3.
Failed writing constant 0.


is there a fix for this? or is it something i'm doing?


is there an example of a working mainfile.php so i can just write it myself?

php version and/or MySQL version..

recommended php 4.x or MySQL 4.x versions, there are issues with php 5 and MySQL 5.

There's only a problem with the installer.
