Hi,

When I make a new topic a want a thumb on the left side of the subject....but it won't work...i tried everything...

How do I do that ?

Suppose i use the same thumb for each subject : for instance :

Subject : games , i should use a foto of a puzzle
Subject : women, i should use a foto of a girl
...

I believe you mean the topic image of the news module. What version of XOOPS are you using?

Go to your admin page,
Click on the news module button,
Select Topics Manager.
Make a new topic or on the bottum modify a topic. Here's the place where you can attach the image to a topic.

when done,

post a new news message and make sure you set the: Display Topic Image? to yes, then choose how the image must align (left or right).

That should be it.

Nope , i can only chose between xoops.gif and "----". There is no upload button ....

You should try uploading via FTP into the folder where the Xoops.gif is contained.
