I have been getting emails from members letting me know that they keep getting an error when trying to read topics and or submit a topic....So I went to the site and checked it out and this is the error that I am getting.....

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@mickeyfan.net and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

(Can anyone let me know why this error is coming up and what might have caused this problem and definitely what I should do to fix it??????)

Thank you,
TammyA

Hi Tammy,

Please place a link to your site so we may see the error in action.

You'll need to turn on phpdebug run a test, save the messages... then turn on MySQL debug run a test, save the messages.

It looks like your ISP has something strange installed (meaning incompatible with Xoops). What version of XOOPS are you running, what versions of php and MySQL is at the host?

Post the error messages on this site and other info on this site. I don't know if I can help, but maybe someone more knowledgeable can.

Your boyfriend is right to worry about security... but we can't help fix what we can't see. And if you make it hard for people to help, they won't. Sorry about that.

I'll do that and get back on here and let you know....I am not sure of the version....I will have to ask the boyfriend...I would ask him to help, but he said, "figure it out on your own....hope your server isn't crashing."

Thank you for your input,

TammyA

Your server is not crashing. It may be that you have version problems.

You should be able to get that info from the control panel (cpanel) on your host server.

I think you might want to enlist a little help from your boyfriend though.
