I installed XOOPS in order to provide my users with a wysiwyg interface for their content compositions. There are many benefits to using XOOPS but with the site so near completion I'm wondering if it's too late to use it throughout the site (which is mostly php pages).

Maybe I should build in a spare folder and release a new version down the road when it's complete...starting to wonder if it will be good for my site as a whole.

Any opinions?

Bit hard to tell what your objectives are ? Whether your site is 'some' XOOPS, what module it is you have been using, what sort of content is in the (other) php pages. I got a 403 when visiting the site mentioned in your profile, so it's a bit hard to help, until we know more of what it is you have now, and what it is you hope to achieve ?
NO to the Microsoft Office format as an ISO standard.

I am not quite clearon what you want to use the wysiwyg for...

RU trying to provide free form content editting? If so in which modules? If you can get wysiwyg editors to work with all the modules you need, then go for it.

I personally have some 14 XOOPS sites. I use the editors that appear native with each module. It works for me. I have been using the easiest and most stable approach... I think.
