I would like to capture User IP(XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX) into users table while registration process. How can I accomplish. Any right Direction is of great help.

This should be doable since in preference you can set an IP number not to count as a hit on counters.

I once toyed with the idea and came up with a novel onload form redirect to provide myself with an IP heart beat process for systems that I wanted to keep in touch with.

Keep in mind its very krude but it can be quite useful. see

Yep I wanted to eventually make this some kind of data base solution but time is infinately cruel to IT peeps :)
