I can't figure out what I am doing wrong, but the Edit | Delete links are showing up on my /modules/news/ page for everybody, even Anonymous users.
Am I missing something in the News config?

Check your Admin-Groups privs for the module. Make certain Anonymous are note able to admin the module.

Although when I look at your site, I do not get those rights (no edit, no delete)

Well, I just changed the template. :/ Those should not be on the front page, ever, anyway.

They should only be visible to people with access to this function.
