Hi all:

I'm using XOOPS 2.2.3 after years using 2.0.X... when I try to customize the template of site_closed.html I only can modify a part, and the new template designed by me appears "enclosed" in the default design with the XOOPS logo, a search form in the top right corner, the date in the left top corner...

How can I customize the entire page template?, I don't want that my design appears enclosed with the default, This didn't happen in the 2.0.X versions...

I believe you will have to edit the default theme.
