Hello - I am not sure if I am posting this in the right place. We are a very small nonprofit that has been trying to use XOOPS and have been very frustrated. The issue we are dealing with now is trying to email our newsletter to our members. Each time we try to send an email we receive a CGI time out error message. Help! Thank you

Exactly how are you doing the mailings?
What OS is the webserver running on?
Can you successfully send emails from the command line of that server?
The software industry is the only industry where selling goods known to be defective is perfectly legal, and then you can charge extra for fixing the defects.

Thank you for your response! We are running XOOPS under a Windows server. In the admin control area, we go to "users" than "mail users" and try to send mail that way; when that hasn't worked, we select "find users", make our search selections and try to send mail to users that way. In both cases we have problems and always have. As for our email outside of the XOOPS program, that all works fine.
