How to allow users to save theme?

I have a site where users can select from 3 or 4 themes so they can pick their favorite layout.

How can I set it up so they can save the one they want to be their theme instead of it always going back to the default theme when they log in?

you can set this variable in the extended profiles module. users would need to then go into their profiles and select their default theme.

Thanks for the help, but I cannot find extended profiles anywhere. I searched all through the XOOPS site. How do i get extended profiles module?

Extended profiles is for 2.2.4 only at the moment.

But please read the note here - before considering upgrading.

You may be better advised waiting until XOOPS 2.4 (as I don't believe 2.3 will have this feature yet) for this feature.

I Use The XT Temas Module.

Description
It shows a Block with selectable themes and an option to use it every time you login
CBB / LatestNews / Publisher / XM-Spotlight

dang. i wish i'd known about that sooner. the only reason i upgraded to 2.2 was so users could set their layout and also to use the better cbb.

now that cbb 1 and 3 are merged and i know about that module, i wish i would've stayed with 2.0.13.2
