I have done the installation with the following config.:

Apache 2.0
PHP 4.42
MYSQL 4.1.18
X00ps 2.23
for personal website using dynamic ip with port 80 re-routing by http://www.no-ip.com

The site was setup up and work fine under on the LAN side. However, I tried to access the website with another broadband line (or remote) and it disappoint me with:
- very slow response (took ove 20 second to get the login page)
- missing XOOPS banner at the login in page
- site was inaccessible after keeing in the correct login name.

However, it was working fine when I use another PC in the same LAN segment to access it. Would it be the problem with the router setting or the ISP? Firewall on the router has been open for test but still fails.

When I used tested with another website with simple setup and contents, the response via internet was fast and good. Now I am stuck and don't know what to do. Would anybody please help!

Many thanks!

Woo... I found out that XOOPS is not intended for dynamic IP environment. Luckily that I did not throw my broadband router against the wall. Look like I have to concede and to subscribe an fixed IP broadband line.

My XOOPS works fine when I connected it directly to the ADSL whose IP will change randomly.......
