Blank page in Catads 1.4

Would appreciate any help at all on this one:

I get a blank page when posting an ad in Catads v 1.4 with the following php debug message
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class xoopsblock in /home/uname/public_html/kernel/block.php on line 49


also get a blank page (with the same php debug message) when trying to create a new category.

Block.php line 49 says:
class XoopsBlock extends XoopsObject


I am using the following :

xoops 2.2.4
PHP 4.3.11
MySQL 4.0.25-standard
Apache 1.3.33 (Unix)
OS Linux
Theme: karate_redux_blue
No Custom Template

Have been through the Blank Page FAQ to no avail

Does anyone else use this module on v 2.2.4?

Hmmm, I use it on 2.2.4 with no problems, but do remember having to edit some areas (not sure where though ).

Read the comments here and see if that helps you out. If not, post your problem there, theCat (the developer) has been great help.
