Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/public_html/modules/newbb/viewforum.php on line 91

any ideas?

Suggestions...

1. make sure the templates_c directory has write permissions
2. in system preferences check that the option: 'Update module template .html files...' is set to yes.

Then try updating the system and forum modules again.

did all of the above. the templates_c is set to 777, cleared that dir out, set the theme.html set to yes, and then re-updated system and then forums, modules, closed my browser, cleared temp files, cache/history, cookies, opened up new browser and, click on forums it shows my categories ok, click on a forum and i get the below

(note: this is with phpdebug set to on)

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/edibledk/public_html/modules/newbb/viewforum.php on line 91
Notice [PHP]: Constant _MD_POSTEDON already defined in file modules/news/language/english/main.php line 88

thank you for your reply and suggestions

I don't know version 1.16a and can't find a copy... so could you post the code of the line that's giving the error?

modules/newbb/viewforum.php on line 91

well that was weird i disabled every module but system and forums and the forums work fine...

my modules are

1) system
2) newbb v1.16a
3) news v1.44
4) member roster (custom) v1
5) xoopspolls v1
6) xoopsgallery v1.33
7) web links v1.1
8) contact us v
9) piCal v 0.76
10) memberlist v1
11) wordpress for XOOPS (xpress) v2

ill try enabled one by one and see if i can figure out which is causing the problem, the version of XOOPS is 2.0.13.1, anyone know of any known conflicts with the above modules?

aix
