I'm running XOOPS 2.0.13.2 on my webserver.

My question to you is this;

What forum is the best for that version?
I have tried NewBB 1, 2 and also IPB Message Board.

The "IPB" is nice and seems to have lots of things on the admin page, but it also seems to have bugs in it. :(

What forum do you guys like best?

CBB is the best native XOOPS forum.

Visit: http://www.xoopsforge.com for the latest RC download.

I think I will try to use the IPB forum.

But I have a problem with it. :( When someone post a new topic the authors name want show up. Like this:

Feb 11 2006, 04:30 PM
In: test
By: .. (.. should be the authors name. Why is there two . (..)? Can I somehow change it so the authors username will be showed?

Right now i don´t remember what i did to get rid of that issue but there is something that can be done.

Thanks I found the thread.

Here is the answer:

1) Click on "XOOPS BB Module", in the admin panel.
2) Then click "Common settings".
3) Click now on "Submit" button.

* I tested it and it worked fine for me.
