Hello all. I have an exiting website which I have just made live. It consists of one main homepage which users click on a grid and they can place their adverts on. My website runs on Linux and also has PHP, MySql and Apache installed as standard.
I am thinking of using XOOPS to give the other pages of my site more content etc.
I already have one database setup for the site.
If I was to install XOOPS on my Hosting WWW folder and install a new database for XOOPS would you agree that nothing would affect my existing database or sql scripts.

Yours ( A newbie to MySql)

As long as you a using a differnt database for xoops, then XOOPS will only interact with that database, it is specified when setting up xoops.
