aMember Pro Xoops plugin

I am trying to determine which subscription module / script is going to work best on my site.

I am using the trial version of aMemberPro right now, but the XOOPS plugin isn't included.

I don't want to pay $40 for the plugin just to test it.

If anyone knows where I can get if nothing else a 'trial' version of the XOOPS plugin, I would really appreciate it.

I am using XOOPS 2.2.3, and aMember with the XOOPS plugin.

I have a few questions about how aMember links to XOOPS groups.


I planned on putting a price per group.

For example:

Gold Membership $24.95 (gold group in xoops)
Silver Membership $19.95 (silver group in xoops)
Bronze Membership $14.95 (bronze group in xoops)


Is it possible to have a group automatically assigned to a product in aMember?

I'm afraid you'll have to ask the aMember people this. We're not familiar with aMember, and they wrote this plugin for XOOPS.

I tried Xasset, but I was unable to see how I attached a product to a particular group.

Is there any documentation?

If you can get Xasset to work like this:


Gold Membership $24.95 (gold group in xoops)
Silver Membership $19.95 (silver group in xoops)
Bronze Membership $14.95 (bronze group in xoops)


And get it to work correctly. I would pay you for the installation, £29.07.

That means that I will pay you to install this setup on my existing XOOPS installation.

I already have Xasset installed there, I just would like you to configure it.

Hi zioncurtain4,

McNaz stays pretty busy and does not frequent these forums much, you would get a quicker response on this by e-mail. The address is included under the support link in the administration of the module itself.

Good luck. It works well for me.

And PS. There is a windows helpfile included with the module. You may want to read it.

Thanks much! I will write him.

I am trying to get MC Subscriptions completed, and I am focusing on that first. I really like the idea of how it works. I just need a working version of it.

That would be preferrable to me.

But if McNaz can make this work for me first, I will give it a shot.

Xasset just seems very complicated.

Not once you use it a few times. I can add a new application, with group creation very quickly now. But yes initial setup does take some time and understanding. The help file helps greatly.
