Dear All

When i place a block I have the option to place it in

Top page
module1
module2
...........etc

When I select the top page option the block is placed in the index page thats just fine but is also placed in any page that is not a module. For eg., aboutme.php, myhobbies.php etc..which i also have in the root.

Is there a way so that it only appears in the index page and nowhere else.

thanks in advance,
cheers

Try using Multimenu - this will give you more control over your menu layouts.

You didnot get my point at all.

how do i go about it?

thanks in advance

You need to log into your admin panel and go into the administration panel for your blocks. Search for the block you want to edit, and then click on the "Edit" link next to the block.

You should be taken to a new screen that will allow you to select what section or pages you want the block visible on.

along with index.php it also is visible in my other pages (non module pages) like aboutme.php etc.

Re: block placement.

What is needed here -- can someone explain which database tables have the fields that control this and what the names are? She could fix this directly in the db with phpmyadmin. I looked at the tables and couldn't figure it out myself, I'm too new to this.
