Missing Topics in a Forum

Hi all,
In one of my forums two topics have disapeared. It shows the number of topics is 2 but the actual topics (plus the posts) can't be seen. All the other forums seem fine. Any help appreciated.

There's no link to your website to check, but I would guess that they are posts older than a certain time and you are only viewing posts newer than x amount of days.

Thanks bluenova, you're right. The topics default is set on "last 100 days" can the default be changed to "from the beginning" as each time I set it to "from the beginning" it reverts back to "last 100 days" If so where can this be done?
