Problem with registering a new user.

When I go to the register page:

http://xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.com/modules/profile/register.php

I get this message:

Sorry, you don't have the permission to access this area.

I have check every security option that there is. Turned it off, and on.

Disabled XOOPS protector entirely..

Nothing will allow it to work.

Any ideas?

go to preferences/general settings and "allow new user registration"

if you are using the latest version of XOOPS you have to do it in the extended profiles preferences

preferences/extend profiles/general preferences.

make sure anonymous group has access to the profile module.. check group settings and permissions in the extended profiles admin..

no need to disable protector it has nothin to do with registrations.
