Apologies if this is in the wrong section, but I'm not sure what kind of problem this is and what is causing it.

XOOPS 2.0.13.2 site using default theme/template with extremely minimal modification to the theme other than simple css, and none to the XOOPS core (except for modifications due to the the ipboard module installed)

http://www.citytillidie.org.uk (true path http://citytillidie/dcs-direct.com) should show up the error within a few clicks

All seems to be smooth except for occasional 404 "page not found" errors. Reloading the page usually works fine as the problem is intermittent.

Occasionally, upon navigating the site, the browser is directed to http://citytillidie;dcs-direct.com/modulepath (with a semicolon instead of the period)

This happens on any internal link, reloading the page or going back and clicking the same link again usually cures the problem

I have uninstalled all modules that I installed shortly before the problem occured, so now I am a little stuch as to where to look next to solve the problem.

Bit of a newb to xoops, php and smarty, so any help or hints in the right direction would be gladly appreciated..

check mainfile.php and see if the url and path are correctly defined in there..

seems to work fineonce the correct url is used

http://citytillidie.dcs-direct.com/modules/mydownloads/viewcat.php?cid=3

note, citytillidie.dcs NOT citytillidie/dcs

this maybe not a problem with mainfile.php by the looks of it though, maybe a dns forwarding/redirect issue from your http://www.citytillidie.org.uk domain..

but if u are wanting to use the .co.uk domain name, then you have to use that url in mainfile.php and not the citytillidie.dcs url

Sorry, typo in the path there.

Turns out it was a problem with the host rather than with XOOPS anyway - relocated to a new host/server and happy with XOOPS again
