Please help me in this error

WARNING: File E:/inetpub/vhosts/sevenandabove.com/httpdocs/portal/html/mainfile.php is writeable by the server.
Please change the permission of this file for security reasons.
in Unix (444), in Win32 (read-only)

do as it says and change the permission of mainfile.php to read only :-|

Ya thats true..... I changed all permissions for all users but still error is there... :(

users? it says change the permission of the file to read only, not users..

ok.... Here is some confusion...

error is coming on Administration Page

And in my hosting control panel, i'm changing permission for all my administrators. Now they have read permission only. No write and No execute permission.....


Still problem is not getting solved

change the file permission not the users..

mainfile.php needs to be read only or chmod 444..

See the XOOPS 2.2 Chmod Flash tutorial it is a large file so give it time to load. Or if using dialup see the XOOPS Installation Flash Tutorial in it's entirety, it goes over folder permissions also.

Hey montey he is using Windows. Chmod will not work. Right click on the file choose properties and put a check mark in the Read Only box.

oh.. Wait Wait.... I'm using hosting services adn by using control panel, i've do give permissions to file. In that control panel, i tried each and every permission , but its not helping me......

I can't just rightclick and hide it

use file manager and change the file permission.. or do it via FTP
