spam in guestbook

hi there!

i am getting alot of spam in my guest book XF Guestbook v 2.22
on XOOPS 2.013

i am moderating all the messages, and am not publishing them but deleting those messages in itself is very tiring !

Yup, I agree. I have the same problem... Haven't seen a fix yet.

I just made the Guestbook unavailable to unregistered users on my sites - Bath Pubs, Bristol Pubs, etc.

Whilst I don't get so many guestbook entries, those I do get are more sincere, and almost no spam.

guestbook is supposed to be for visitors/guests .. how can you force them to register first and then post a guest message?
