Localhost Problem

Hello,

I`ve installed XOOPS and a few modules on my computer which acts as small webserver.

Maybe it was my failure, but when I enter the site from my computer, it is no problem. But when I try to enter it from any other computer via the internet, I only get fragments of the site, and all links go via localhost/.../

So does that mean that I have to install all modules again from an onther computer on my server, so that XOOPS has the right link IP adress?

Is there a way to change this in the *.php files ?

Thank you,

Best Regards and Happy New Year,
Hermann

Hi Hermann,

It's real easy: you jave to use the IP address or server name you use to connect to the localhost from another computer in your mainfile.php, where it says XOOPS_URL. The database host you can leave set to localhost just fine.

Hope that helps
