Proper steps to upgrade xoops 2.0.10 to 2.2.3 Final

Where can I find or exactly what are the CORRECT steps to updrade my version 2.0.10 to the latest 2.2.3final release.
Step by step would be helpful! I just want to do it RIGHT!

You would be much, much better updating to 2.0.13.2 than 2.2.3.

Is that a required step, or are the two version to imcompatable? Or is that just one step leading to the next upgrade step! I just want to try to get as current as possible, without to much alteration on my current website.

Most modules are compatible with 2.0.x, so unless you really have need of 2.2 based modules... you will probably be best sticking with 2.0.13.2 for now.
