How can I get forum digest to work?

XOOPS Version: 2.2.3
Module Name/Version: newbb 2.3
PHP Version: 4.3.5
MySQL Version: 4.0.11a-gamma
Web Server Software (Apache/IIS/Other): Apache
Operating System: Linux


In forum preferences I have set "Email post digest" to "Daily".

In the notification block I selected "Notify me of post digest" (a couple of days ago I think)

All other notifications (e.g. new post) work.

The forum admin "index" page says "Digest notification
Should be sent out 18899938 minutes ago | Digest archive 0"

If I click on "Should be sent..." it says "Digest NOT processed"

How do I get it to work? Any help greatly appreciated.

I have moved a step further on, but have not yet got a solution

Since the first post, I noticed the 'Admin' option on the forums when logged in as webmaster. (A stupid oversight, I know.) I then marked a few posts 'Digest'. It all seemed to be working.

The index said "Should send in:" (approx 24hours). Now it has gone back to "Should have been sent:" (approx 3 hours ago).

How do I get the digest to send?????????????

It must be pretty simple (for those who know) - PLEASE HELP!

Looks like nobody has ever got it to work Even this site doesn't use it.

I think when this is set to Prune depend on what setting you have it on to when it will get Digested. I've marked mine soon as they are posted and it will archive then in to a forum. I will see if it all works in 6 months
