Erm.... I mean the search by their login name. I can only search their account by using their username, email, and display name.

Isn't username and login name the same thing?

Or is this some other field in XOOPS 2.2.x that seems to complicate more things than need be (I have an issue with making the real name required during the registration process...)

Dave

EDIT: oops I think you might have meant user ID, in which case the login name and the user ID (Number) are not the same - sorry.

Yes. You are right. The username is their Full name. Display name is their nickname which will display in the forum, etc. They are totally different from login name.

There is module called members. It let's you search by any field in the user profile, and sort the results too.

You can install that and make it only available for admin users.

Where can I download the "member" module?

That's a good question. It used to be part of the module package that came with xoops, but since XOOPS 2.2 doesn't come with any modules...

I checked the module packs for 2.2, but I didn't find it in any...

I don't know if you can just download an old version and take the xoopsmembers module from there... I don't know if it would work in 2.2, but I guess you can try.

I found this thread that might be useful:

xm-members

I haven't tried the module they talk about, but sounds like what you are looking for.
