Hello,

On my site I am using XOOPS 2.0.13.2
I have some new images that I would like to put on my site. How can I do this so that it is in the position I want and I dont have to replace any old images.

Thank You.

Re: Inserting Images

Where do you want to place them? In a module or in your theme?

I would like them to be placed in the theme.

Then you can just edit the theme file so that the new images are shown (as well), upload the file and make sure that in your admin general preferences you enable the 'automatically detect new theme files' option (or something like that...). If you want to keep the current theme available as well, then I suggest you make a copy of the current theme folder and rename the copied folder to the new theme name. Edit the files and upload the new theme folder. In your admin panel make the new theme available for selection and set it as the default theme.

What would I have to change in the theme file? If there is code I have to include could you please provide an example. And do you mean the 'Update module template .html files from themes/your theme/templates directory?' option?

Thanks

This is not the kind of question that an example can simply be posted for, you need to give us more info.

If you don't understand how to insert an image into an html file then you shouldn't really be asking for help in a forum like this - try the beginners forum.

Sorry to be mean, but I think I have got a point

Re: Inserting Images

Have a look at HTML tutorials (google them ) for hints on how to show an image in a web page. References on the img tag is what you are looking for.
