Hello all,

Worried that I need to upgrade
my XOOPS from 2.0.7.3 to the most recent.

Before I do that, any recomendations on the safeest method?
Also, what upgrade do I need to be stable & current.

Thank you for any help!

Hi,

I did just did an upgrade from 2.0.6 to the new 2.0.13.2 without any problems...
Before you do the upgrades do make a backup of your files + database...

My advice would be - don't bother.

I've just upgraded from 2.0.12 which worked to 2.2 final (or whater name they gave it).

I've had nothing but endless problems and broken modules.

It seems that along the way they abandond piles of stuff that left my site a useless mess.

Upgrade to XOOPS 2.0.13.2 to have the security fixes and latest stable release.

Always make a backup before upgrading, and if you are unsure then upgrade a copy of your site locally first.
