News Category Link in the Main Menu

when I click news all the news are shown in one page.

I want it easy for my users to find the news they want.

Question
Is there any module which enables to have a news category link in the main menu...

and when that link is clicked then only news of that category will be shown on the page.

Has anyone made this kind of module before... Please tell me where I can find it if it's been made before.

I'll appreciate your help! Thank you!

You need to go through the topics in your news module and look for the option "Publish this topic as a sub menu" and choose yes. The news module also has a block called "Navigate Thru Topics" and another called "News Topics" for this purpose.

thanks for the reply, but
there's no option like 'publish this topic as sub menu' in the news module..

there are just "Topics Manager", "Post/Edit News", "Preferences"...

where can I find it... or is it new news module?

You want to manage the way your topics are displayed, correct? Well, open the Topics Manager to manage your topics. Under each individual topic is the option that I described. Then you can manage your topics.
