works fine in this account with both IE & firefox.. but still doesn't work in my m0nty account.

I'll check your account and see if there is anything different about it versus the test account you created. I have not had a problem here, but I do find it quite strange that your account is having a problem.

I'll contact you if anything needs changed.

m0nty,

I've gone through the two accounts and group permissions. There's nothing there that would casue this problem.

What OS are you using? What browser versions? Is this the only XOOPS powered site that you have problems on?

Well, a bit more information... I just tried on another pc and I still have the same result - I can't view my own or another's user profile when logged in.

It's only on this site, dev.xoops.org for instance is fine.

windows XP Pro SP2
IE 6.0.2900
Firefox 1.06

tried on my m8's pc and same problem, but only with the m0nty account.. no other XOOPS sites are affected.. dev.xoops is fine, it-hq is fine, smartfactory is fine etc..

it seems strange, and i'd have thought my pc was the problem, but as rowdie is also having the exact same problem i don't think it can be my pc :S

I logged in as m0nty for a test, and experienced the same problems with his account. So it is something serverside, not his computer or settings.

I believe there's a mod/hack that stops anon users seeing profiles. Do you think that may have been tested on Xoops.org and not properly disabled? or...

anti-spam/virus software, sending referrers blah, blah (I am sure you have tried all this) or...

Xoops.org have upgraded to the latest v2.0 version which in some draconian way forbids numeric characters in user-names as part of it's security measures?
