I am sure nobody has ever noticed this before but:
Since the use of templates within the mylinks and mydownloads modules, the pop/updated and 'new' graphics are also getting underlined if you have given the class value a.active = underline.
As you can imagine this isn't very professional looking and shouldn't happen also to my opinion.
It is best viewable within Firefox browser (a long line) or, if IE if you have 2 graphics behind the link: updated and popular (a small line between the two graphics).

I've already looked at the source and can see what causes this problem:
index.php

This is the reason why the link close tag puts itself also under the graphics.

Now as for my question:
What code change should/can be done to separate the graphics from the active link. So they won't get underlined anymore if you use the underline class value.?
