Comments in templates

Well, as you (most probably) know - reconstruction of final XOOPS page is nightmare for novice (and mid-level) XOOPS user.
I think, everybody will be more than happy, if one small addinion will be added as mandatory requrement to all templates implementation (for core and non-core modules):
- Mark start&end of any tempate with html-comments in order to easy correlation resulted HTML and used template, smth. like:

From what I understand, it seems a good idea.

Do you mean to add these areas just as a comment? - or perhaps to be interpretted somehow?

A good idea indeed.... it is a headache trying to follow templates.

(I misunderstood at first, and thought you meant some "ssi" type extra commands )

Comments within templates should use Smarty comment delimiters, not HTML comment delimiters.

<{* Smarty comment *}>

(Not that I'm planning on following your suggestion.)
