Thank you brash, but Koivi does not look any different to XOOPS Default editor for me.

They both have only one "Article Text" window and a "Banner/Sponsor" window, not a second "Article Text" window.

Would you be able to think of a reason for this?

If you are using Koivi, then you should not be using the extend tag at all as you should have two seperate text windows when submitting articles. The first one is for the article introduction, and the bottom one is for the main body of the article. You will still need to use the [pagebreak] tag using Koivi if you wish to paginate your article.

If they look the same, then Koivi is not loaded properly. Koivi is a seperate installation to AMS, so you will need to download it and install it as per its instructions

I have the same problem with 'Xoops Default editor', also ..it doesen't work with preview.
I already have the brilliant Koivi Editor on my forum (CBB), do I have to install a separate Koivi Editor for AMS or can I just use the one CBB use?
If no why? If yes how?

I still can't view articles by topics... When I hit the link I get a white page, empty. I checked the permissions and everything else seems to be working.

P.S. I can't get Koivi to work as well. I've installed and chosen it as default editor in AMS preferences but when I try to submit an article nothing changes, still XOOPS default. Or at least it looks like that. I know koivi from CBB and it's definatelly not it.

What version of XOOPS are you guys using? From what I understand there is some sort of pathing issue when using AMS with Koivi on XOOPS 2.2.x.

What about for XOOPS v2.0.13.2?

There is no /class/xoopseditor/ directory nor /modules/AMS/class/xoopseditor/ directory.

Also, that article you reference says "edit AMS/include/" - but that is a directory, not a file. I initially figured it must be referring to "modules/AMS/include/index.php", but I can find on references to text string "wysiwyg" in that file nor in some of the others I've tried looking in. (Note that I don't have command line access to my server, so I'm browsing files using the cPanel File Manager interface - I can't do a nice easy grep for strings)

Ok, ok, I obviously need to install kiovi. Duh!

I found it (http://dev.xoops.org/modules/xfmod/project/?koivieditor) and installed (i.e. unzipped and moved the wysiwyg/ folder under the class/ folder) and configured AMS to use it and it really looks great!!! This is going to be much easier to work with in the future for articles.
