Hi,

I'm searching out a few things about Xoops,
but I don't know if XOOPS also includes a forum,
in which you can edit/make/write things in topics,
etc. etc.

Yes - visit cbb.getituponline.com for the latest versions of CBB

Welcome to XOOPS

It's not many forums to choose from, but you can take a look at Invision Board and CBB for example.

I prefer CBB.

Xoops came with a forum (newBB) in the 2.0.x line.

However in the new 2.2.x line it will come only with most basic modules for management and you will to download a forum (recommendation cbb which is the successor of newbb) yourself.

Anyone know what the latest version of CBB is? There site is closed for maintance and I want to make sure before I install that I ahve the lateest and greatest!@

I downloaded CBB for a XOOPS 2.2.3 site just yesterday, the latest version 24 hours ago (for XOOPS 2.2.3) was Cbb 2.30.
