B-Global Theme::Feedback? Suggestions?

I'm working on a new theme for MyWebResource called B-Global.

While I clean up the code and images, I was hoping to get some feedback on the overall look and feel of the design. Also, if there are any code errors that you find that I've missed, that would be good too.

I will be providing both 2.0.x and 2.2.x versions of this theme and I hope to have them ready for release by next weekend.

You can view the B-Global theme at MyWebResource by clicking the b-global theme from the Themes block in the bottom left column of the homepage.

Theme looks really good !!

It is very easy on the eyes while still being graphical enough to catch some attention.

The only (tiny) bit of critism might be the lack of title attributes in the link tags.

othe than that it look great on my monitor !
So, I'm in the park wondering why frisbees get larger as they get closer when suddenly, it hits me...

Thank you for your feedback! Actually, one of the things I've been meaning to do lately is go through my templates and add the title attribute to links. I'll go through this theme really well before I release it and make sure the title attribute is defined everywhere it can be in the theme.

If you can change the background of the content that would be great since it is difficult to read the text! otherwise, anything else is perfect!

Looks great, nice colors. A bit dark, could do with a couple lighter blocks maybe.

A tad blocky also, would be nice to have a couple rounded corners, to break up all the squareishness. But don't go overboard on the rounded either if you do add some.

As soon as I get the HTML/CSS cleaned up, Admin section done and get the version for XOOPS 2.0.x finished (just minor changes), I'll post the announcement with download link. If all goes well, it should be ready in a couple hours.

That's a pretty darned good theme, dude. Looks like it would work great on any business or professional site. The only observation I'd make (and this is a personal preference) is that I tend to get a jerky effect on my computer screen when I scroll text on a fixed background image. Beyond that, it's great and I think I can safely say that it's ok to unhook yourself from the caffeine IV; you deserve a break!

Re: Jerkiness in IE...

That's something I've battled with on every theme that has a fixed background (background-attachment:). The only thing I can attribute it to is CSS 2.0 support in IE is not that good.

If anyone knows of a way to stop the jerkiness with IE, I'm all ears!

A quick side note...

I had to change the background on .itemBody to a solid color because of IE as well. I was assigning the semi-transparent background image to both .itemBody and div.blockContent. Unfortunately, IE didn't like this and made the background solid gray.
