My website have this problem where only webmaster group users can see all fields of profile users page.
The users group cannot see all your own fields and can´t see complete profile of anothers users.
The permissions are ok. The profile module is the version with XOOPS 2.2. I´ve upgrade XOOPS to 2.2.3 and the problem continue.

I´ve create a test user for who want see the problem:
user: teste
password: 123456

My website is in portuguese. Check the "menu pessoal" (user menu) and click in "minhas informações" (view account).

are you sure the permissions are set right?

It´s ok.

Maybe it´s possible check for any problem in tables.

I think m0nty means the permissions set in the Extended Profiles module administration.

Each field can be set visible
- on group members' profile = These fields CAN be visible
- for these groups = IF a field is visible on a user's profile, these groups are allowed to view it

The intention is that you can set a lot of fields visible on e.g. registered users' profiles, but some of them only viewable by e.g. webmasters.
Similarly, you can set other fields visible on the webmaster users' profile that are visible to everyone - but not present on the registered users' profiles.

I guess it can be a little tricky to start with, but hope that it is understandable when you try it out a bit.

Everything is ok now.
The problem is with portuguese translate. There is showing options to turn fields to be invisible (oculto) when put it to turn visible (visível) is the right!
