First off all sorry for my bad english.
And i hope i placed my topic into the right forum.

I maybe have found an verry simple solution to protect your xfguestbook against spambots.
I just put the folowing line 3 weeks ago into robots.txt which you can find in de XOOPS root DIR.

Disallow: /modules/xfguestbook/

I have put this line into two differnt XOOPS sites.
Which have running the xfguestbook module running.
And both site had alot of spambots spamming these guestbooks with filthy spam.
So far so good, the last couple off weeks these sites did not had any spambots writing into those guestbooks.
