Are these messages something to worry about? I guess that it means that I'm protected. Should I take any further action or can I just relax with the knowledge that "protector" is doing its job?

The 203.155.1.244 is me, but I don't know why it has logged me with "misc smilies"

GI Joe's Support Forum

I posted there originally when I first noticed the "misc smilee" messages, but it hasn't recieved a reply.

I just updated the message with the new loggings. Hopefully someone can put me at ease soon.

I wouldn't worry to much about it.
Sometimes Protector is logging my own IP also for DoS and I don't know for what reason.
A while ago I used a proggie to check the links on my website and this was logged as a Crawler.
You can check if the IP addresses belong to registered users of your website.
On http://www.dnsstuff.com you can check where an IP is coming from (WHOIS lookup) and contact the hoster of that ip address for information.

OK, thanks for the reply. I'll try to stop worrying. I was just a bit nervous after the recent attack on the XOOPS site.

I think I need to die some of these grey hairs that I've aquired in the last few days.
