Hi all.

I've recently updated my news module to the latest version 1.42, everything is ok unless a problem with the groups permissions.

The problem is the following:
When I configure the permissions of a category (news approve, news submit or news view) the permissions of the others categories dissapear! :O, yes, is very strange, but I can only configure the permissions in one category.

I have set the permissions editing the database table directly, but this is only a temporal solution, it's a work very hard to edit the database tables directly "in hand"!

For your information, I'm using:

Xoops 2.06
News module 1.42
Spanish language for News module 1.3

1st off i'd seriously recommend you upgrade to at least 2.0.13.2 version of xoops.

2.0.6 was only a brief upgrade from 2.0.5.2 and was soon superceded by 2.0.7 etc due to a few security issues and bugs.. it's wise to keep up to date especially with the amount of hacking activity going on lately in cyberworld.

I second that notion: upgrade to XOOPS 2.0.13.2

Well guys, I've just updated up to 2.0.9.3 and problem is solved!, thank you very much for your help!, I'll consider update to 2.0.13!
