Migrating user accounts from phpBB2 to Xoops 2.2.2?

I was wondering if there was some possible way of migrating/transfering the user accounts from a site that was using phpBB2 Plus 1.52 based on phpBB 2.0.11 over to our new site that is using XOOPS 2.2.2?

If someone could possibly give me a step-by-step process of doing this I would greatly appreciate it! I am still a noob to XOOPS and this sort of stuff.

how can I migrate an existing phpBB2 to Xoops? users + data (posts / forums)

You have probably already been here, but the guy who has done the most work with conversions like this is:

I have no idea if he has the conversion you are talking about, but he may.

Thanks JulioNC! I'll look into it and possibly try it on a test setup and see if it works. I'll post feedback.

I've recently been given a new script by a talented XOOPS coder which goes a step further than this script, and also converts PMs as well...

I need to test this locally, and make sure it behaves properly - but if so, i'll be posting this on the CBB site next week
