WHOOPS!!! Help Please!

Ok, I updated newbb, without backing up my old files, then after finding out that nothing was working I deleted the whole folder and tried to reuplaod newbb2 and now it is giving me an error of: xoops_bb_archive already exists, and it won't install. Any help would be great!

It probably means that you have to delete (drop table) the entry xoops_bb_archive from your MySQL database.
If you don't delete the database entries first you can't reinstall newbb.

Yeah I just figured that out, I'm in MySQL right now dropping those tables. Thank you though.

Maybe it's a good idea to make a backup of those tables.
After the installation of newbb you can import the data again and so you don't loose any data.
If you can't import with phpMyAdmin try BigDump.

I think I will back up the whole database using my webhosting MySQL admin tool. I can export and import with that tool. It should be sufficient. Well what do you know it is phpMyAdmin, hmm. Cool.
