I did a search for this and came up empty.
How do you go about changing a modules name?
What I would like to do (as an example) is change:
https://xoops.org/modules/mylinks/

to say

https://xoops.org/modules/ourlinks/

Can this be done?

Thanks
Greg

The only way to realise this is to clone the mylinks module into ourlinks. Because you don't need a second link module you only need to change the dirs name and not the tables name.
Run through all the .php files and find and replace.
Otherwise you also have to change the tables name

Thanks Shine,

Took a few tries (couple of stupid errors on my part. But all is good with the name change. Even did a few more modules.
Actually glad I made the minor errors I did. Only way to learn is by our mistakes.
