I have a problem with News module 1.4

I want to put in the Home Page the News with the option of the Administration Panel, with CLASSICAL aspect but with 2 columns.

I want 6 news on my Home Page but the module permit to insert only 5, 10, 20... news.

What I must to do???

Edit the file called /xoops/modules/news/xoops_version.php and find this line :
Quote:

$modversion['config'][1]['options'] = array('5' => 5, '10' => 10, '15' => 15, '20' => 20, '25' => 25, '30' => 30);

Study it and modify it to suit your needs.
Once modified, don't forget to update the module in the XOOPS modules manager.
