Hi All,
Can you reccomend what you think is the best FTP Client for winXP and win2000 machines always upload to linix servers.

I have been using ws_FTP_Pro 7.62 but it is fairly unstable and hangs up or crashes quite frequently.

Thanks in advance
Gecko

CuteFtp5.0XP will be the best one.

I've used CoreFTP, Coffeecup FTP, and SmartFTP with no issues. SmartFTP seems great, but a bit longer of a learning curve than the others.

You can download all of them at Download.com:

I'm using WS_FTP Pro 9 without having problems.

You can try SmartFTP, it's freeware also.

On the site File Flash you can read some comments about SmartFTP: http://www.fileflash.com/?action=screenshot&program=869

You have to download the NSI setup, the other download is corrupted.

Hands down, LeapFTP is the best FTP client I've ever found. The only thing you have to remember is set it to PASV mode. LeapFTP has the most intuitive interface out there, by far.

My vote goes to coreFTP.

I've been using the Lite version (It's free) for several years now.

They have a paid version as well.

I'm using CuteFTP as well as Total Commander's FTP feature. They are both cool and I've been using them for ~ 2 years now.

SmartFTP for me. Used it for about a year without a hitch.
