Upgrading from 2.07 to current version?

Hello everyone ^_^.

For a long time, I wasn't able to update my website and now that I have some times, I'd like to upgrade my version of XOOPS which is 2.07.

I'd like to know if I've to do every intermediate updates? (2.0.7->2.092 then 2.0.9.2->2.0.1.0, etc...).

Also, I'm using the invasion forum module made by bbpixel (an old version too ^^), do you think it'll still work with newer XOOPS version?

For upgrade purposes it is safer to perform each in sequence. You can create a single batch upgrade if you overlay the upgrade files from oldest to newest VERY carefully.

As for your other question... I have no idea. Sorry.

I think I'll try to make each update and see what will happen. This will just take some times ^_^. I just hope it won't affect the forums ^^.

Remember to perform a backup before each update...

that way should you encounter a problem you can roll back to a stable version.
